Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities
In September 2002, the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities (CCSA) was established in order to continue coordination in the statistical sector, which had been done by ACC Subcommittee on Statistical Activities prior to 2002 (background information on the ACC Subcommittee on Statistical Activities). The CCSA held its first session on 3 March 2003 in New York, in which it adopted its terms of reference.

An annual report on ongoing Committee activities is made available to the United Nations Statistical Commission and if necessary or desirable the report is referred to the High Level Committee on Programmes of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB).
